Good movie.. but....

Watching Backdraft for the first time, it is a good movie, but there are a lot of things in it that do not make it believable..

The firemen walk in and out of fires without masks or tanks and just wiping off the sweat as if it's just a little hot..

Heavy smoker firemen, although it probably does exist, I would presume that most firefighters are none smokers..!?

Firemen are suppose to follow a "buddy system" partner and orders from their superiors (which obviously in the movie , no one listens to orders..! ). I guess suspensions and being fired doesn't exist in this town ..! :P
