To the clowns in Hollywood

I’ve seen plenty of bad movies given the barebones, boring package DVD treatment. This movie deserves the same.

I've got an old vhs copy, surely a cheap transfer via a recordable DVD player would more than adequitly fit the bill?

I don't know why I like this film, but I do. I guess it appeals to the 12 year old in me. I watched this movie on cable a lot as a kid, and I recently found a copy on ebay. Yeah, it's cheesy but I think the producers expected a lot more for this movie, maybe ONE sequel at least. The make up was pretty good actually. Almost every alien had a mask, or some sort of prosthetic. The human costumes were terrible, ala Space Mutiny, but there was a lot of attention to detail, even with the extras in the crowds, and even the sets looked pretty good. I think this might have worked better as a tv series, rather than a feature film. It seems like an awful shame that all of the neat masks and everything else went to waste after this film flopped. I mean hell, even Swamp Thing had a terrible tv show in the early to mid nineties.

Anyway, i'd like to see a dvd with a commentary track or something, it deserves as much.

some of the aliens are well cool that giant grasshopper sloth looks cool, and horn looks pretty brutal.

Damn right. There's got to be enough of us who used to watch this as wee men to warrent a cheapo dvd release.

Dick, this is nuts.

Well you guys, I'm in the same boat!
I watched this thing religiously as a kid!
This was a classic renter! I rented it countless times from the local video store.

When it came on Sky (cable), of course it was taped!

I don't remember much of it to be honest since it's been about 18 years since I last saw it! EIGHTEEN YEARS!?!?!?!?????? Has it been THAT long!?
But man, cheesey, corny WHATEVER. I wanna watch it again!

A DVD release would be great!

I vaguely remember seeing this movie on tv at one time, yeah... I think it deserves to be released onto dvd. See worse and I certainly could use another b-movie to show friends.

It is on Encore Action right now.

If they released The Willies on DVD then they could release this DAMNIT!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE IN ALL ITS CAMPY GLORY!

It has some of the WORST names for aliens I've ever heard.

Spinner?
Skull?
Stitches?
Shorty?

and the protagonist's name is Steve

Seems like they had a morbid fascination with the letter S
