I have just finished the book this film was based on, and I like to see the film; is it available on DVD?

I have been looking for this movie on DVD too but haven't found it yet. You can catch it on tv sometimes. Check out this link: http://www.tv-now.com/stars/stars.html Click on one of the buttons for actress, actor, or type in a movie title and it will show you when and where it will be showing next...check in every month and see if you see it. I love this movie.

They show it on Lifetime Television at least twice a year, in its entirety. I have seen it a few times (including on CBS in its first run as a two-parter) and never tire of it. Great movie.

I am looking for this one also. Excellent acting and story.

Don't know if it's available on dvd but is is showing on my premium movie channels. Say, you wouldn't know where I can write Buck would you?

reply

I can't believe you want to write Buck. I hope I don't read about you in the paper someday as his latest victim.

Oh by the way, does anybody know where I can write Jennifer?

Hello,

tonight I saw a lot of messages about "and the sea will tell". Just as many of yours I am looking for it on DVD but I think there is no way to find it. About the book I personnaly think that a strange and touching (affecting?) impression is falling on you when you read this story. There is the second time I am reading Vincent T. Bugliosi's book and 31 years after the facts, this is impossible to have no tears at the eyes, thinking about Mac and Muff's horrible end.

I can't believe someone would like to write this monster named Buck. A cold murderer like him is good to stay in jail for the rest of his life, as long as it will be.

The Grahams and Mac and Muff's families are victims. In a certain way I think Jennifer was (and is)a victim too because she was too naïve, maybe pure and innocent. We can see and understand it in the book and in the pictures and in the words of some witnesses when they gave their evidences about Jennifer's attitude.

I have a question: is there anyone who would like to make a copy for me on VHS of this film next time it will be possible ? I am living in France and there is no other way to see this TV movie. Evidently, I will pay something for it. Thank you very much and excuse me for my English. You can write too me at the following adress: [email protected]

I lived in Hawaii and was aboard Mac and Muffs boat before it was destroyed back in 94/95. Do not think Jennifer was a victim, if any thing she was the brains behind the whole-thing. I know people that knew her and Buck, they would tell you who was the boss in that relationship. She was far from naive. Remember, the book was written by Jennifer's lawyer. He was being paid by her family. He could not say to many bad things about her. I just hope that some day the other set of bones turns up, so they can try her. Still, it was a good movie. I also would like to have a copy of it.

It might interest you that Buck Walker will be soon publishing and releasing his version of the Palmyra tragedy. I know Mr. Walker personally and actually assisting him in the publishing of his book. A website will be up and running here shortly where the book can be purchased. I will be posting the actual date when I receive word. If you would like more information please email me at [email protected].

I saw the last half hour of so (from the closing arguements and on) on Encore Drama this afternoon and was bummed to find out it wasn't being shown again until next Monday. Then I was flipped through my cable guide and Encore Drama West was just starting Part One. Unfortunatly, I only caught bits and pieces as I was making dinner, but I caught all of Part Two. I'll have to rewatch the first part next week. Just thought you'd like to know Encore Drama is showing it.

Hi noglenice,

Thanks for the info on Buck's book. I'll admit I'm skeptical because after seeing "And the Sea Will Tell" (years ago and been waiting for it to be aired again!), I think BOTH of them are guilty as sin! But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and check out his site...
In the meantime, I'M SO EXCITED THAT SOMEONE HAS THE DVD!!! Are they (or you)
willing to share it? How do I go about getting a copy of, "And the Sea Will Tell"?
Thanks a bunch!

reply

OK, here's the deal... If you want a copy of "And The Sea Will Tell" on dvd, log onto http://www.movielead.com and order it through the website. It will cost $45 plus postage for a region free dvd. I just received my copy and can report that it comes as a double disc dvd set - Part 1 and Part 2 - in a plain digipak with just the titel on a white insert. I'm working on my own artwork for the cover. That aside, the quality of the dvd is excellent. The movie has to be ordered, so expect a slight delay. Movielead acts as the go-between only. They track and trace, order the movie and dispatch it to you.

You can buy it at film-classics.com for $14.95.

reply

thanks shautra34. I have been looking for this movie for a long time. I found a couple of people who were willing to sell it, but at a ridiculous price. This site now charges $19.95, but that is reasonable.

If you buy from this company stay on them. They are just now mailing my DVD after I bought it on the 31st. I had to email them enquiring about the order and then they finally mailed it.
