mice travel somewhere they think will be perfect.
mice find out that place isn't perfect.
mice think they can trust cats.
cats trick and then almost eat them.
mouskewitz family thinks that fievel is dead.
fievel returns to them very much alive.
yasha [baby] disappears at the end.
You might want to watch both movies again because how they handle the story is done very differently.

i might watch the first one again, but i wouldn't watch this one again. sure, they handle things a little differently, but the general idea is too similar for me to really enjoy it.

I saw this movie when I was a kid and always thought it was "An American Tail", but when I searched for it a few years ago I was surprised by how much the scenes differed from my memory!! But the main storyline was the same....Turns out it was "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" that I saw as a kid!!
shareThey are very similar but in my opinion this one did a better job. To me this is one of those times that a sequel surpasses the first movie.
shareI actually thought this was a really solid sequel despite some similarities but it certainly didn't meet or surpass the first one in music, art, animation or story. This one tried a little too hard to be funny and didn't quite succeed enough times
