What a brilliant film!!!

This is a brilliant film. I believe many people will highly agree with me but what can i say its great. No one has seen this film apart from me so if you've seen it please reply. The acting is amazing, the characters are stupendous and everything about the film is flawless. Although it is meant to be set in china all the charaters, supposedly chinese, have american accents but regardless of that, it is a brilliant, amazing, fantastic film. I recommend it to everyone!!

I am totally devastated by the fact that only 1 person posted a message here, seriously near to major depression. Well I suppose the best things in the world are hidden. This film is so good no words can define, watching it is like feeling a spring breeze flowing through your hair. This film makes me smile, it makes me happy.

I agree.. probably could have become a bigger hit if it had been made 20 years earlier.. Just wonder why I keep reading viewers of the movie comparing it to the Karate kid? its nothing whatsoever like that movie.. And the lead is not as annoying as that film either. I classic. The scene where our hero burst out of the temple, after fighting wooden men is breathtaking, in my top 5 of all time and I have seem LOTS of films.

This was possibly the worst piece of *beep* ever committed to film.

Hollywood meets Shaolin - why god oh why??

It's a disgrace for marshal arts movies.

It would have been a hit had one of the following men not turned it down: Corey Haim, John Cusack and Jason Bateman.

I liked this movie while growing up.
