Is the R1 DVD unrated?

Warner Bros apparently don't care too much about their Cannon titles. At least that's what I learned when I popped in American Samurai and saw that I was completely screwed over. This is what I get for not downloading...

Anyways, could someone tell me if the Region 1 DVD of American Ninja 4 is completely uncut?

Yep, same as the theatrical release.

They edited "American Samurai"?

Yeah, they took out all the gore and swearing. Sometimes you can't tell what's going on. You can only get it unrated on VHS or the Region 2 DVD.

I agree about WB not caring about their Cannon titles, i bought a few at big lots for 3 bucks each and their is nothing on the menu except "play movie", the only video is fullscreen, and the only audio is 2.0 stereo.....seems like they went out of their way to be cheap on these.....the ones I bought for reference are:
Chain of Command
American Samurai
American Ninja 4 and 5
Fifty/Fifty

Come to think about it, it seems like WB just doesnt give a *beep* about DVD customers in general now that Bluray is out....I've gotten to where I try to buy their titles used if possible. I saw a press release for Ninja Assassin and the DVD has zero extras, but the blu ray is full of em....
