I taped this film a few days ago and was watching it today when the tape stopped- I had not left enough room!The point I left it at was when Palin and Molina were just about to go in for the election. What happened in the rest of the film, please?

Basically Palin confronted Molina on the steps as they were about to go in. He shows his anger and says to Molina something along the lines of 'I knew you'd do anything to get what you wanted but I didn't realise you would stoop so low' then tells him that Elinor is pregnant, then Palin leaves. He gave a note to his supporter which was presumably some kind of withdrawal notice or resignation letter. He then goes to the country house to see Elinor. We then see Caroline walking upstairs and she overhears Palin and Elinor talking, presumably she realises that Palin loves Elinor and not her. Finally we see Molina winning the election and Palin and Elinor back in Switzerland where I'm guessing they lived happily ever after!!!
