Is there a dvd version of this movie? If there is, can someone please provide some links to an English-subtitled release. Thanks!!

I'm not sure this is the one, since there is no information of directior and actors, but the title is right.

Nope, that isn't the correct link - and I guess no-one has been able to find a DVD of this really exceptional movie.

It's at Amazon at an outrageous price. Trying to cash in on its scarcity no doubt but it is available elsewhere.

Yes, a ridiculous price, it was all I could find at the time. I have since found this elsewhere on DVD, probably copied from VHS by the look of it but watchable. Let me know if you'd like it.

There will be an NTSC release of Amantes (from an HD CAM master) in the US fourth quarter of 2011. www.tanelornfilms.com

A new DVD version of this is scheduled for release on the 20th. September.

Hi there,
I am desperate to watch this movie, does anybody know if there's anywhere I can watch it online? I've googled but I can't seem to find a reliable site on which I can view it. I'd be happy to buy it at a reasonable price but like other posters have noted, it's only available at a very high cost (no doubt due to its rarity!)

Sometimes this one is credited as part of the TV Series "La huella del crimen" (it began as an episode of these series, but soon it turned out into a movie), so looking for the series could be easier.

There seems to be a US release subtitled version now, although how "uncut" it is I cannot confirm. I did manage to get a Spanish language copy (no English subtitles), listed at 107m . How "uncut" this Spanish version is I am also unsure. Although one can assume that the Spanish release (no recomendada para menores de 18 anos) would be the complete version. Maybe someone can confirm this ? Also, in Spain, "Amantes" has been released in a 2-movies package deal with "Como Un Relampago". No English subtitles.
