Horrible!

This is a work of art, anyone who labels this "pornography" is incredibly dull and uncultured. If you combine all the explicit sex, it comes to about 15 minutes. Were you sleeping through the other 95 minutes of story, of magnificent film technique, the staggering cinematography? Did you not notice the understated and beautiful musical score? The scenes where the Chinaman takes the young girl and her family out to the restaurant, and than to the nightclub, are classic examples of exquisite filmmaking. And the scene in the car, where the man and girl first hold hands; far more erotic and powerful than the later love scenes. And the love scenes in particular, are the exact polar opposite of what is considered porn. They are utterly tasteful, magnificently filmed, and erotic. And pornography is anything but erotic. The scenes are intense, as they are seen through the eyes of a girl experiencing her first sexual encounters, with an older man. And I have never seen a porn film that contained an ending so elegant, and so sad. the final scenes where the girl is standing on the deck of the cruise ship, as she watches her lover drift away, as he watches her from his car, are among the most beautiful moments in cinema, IMO. and by the way, do you really think Jeanne Moreau would narrate a porno film? Stick to the Hollywood garbage dude; you just don't get it. This film is a near masterpiece.
