They all have a dark Gothic touch but you wouldn't be scared of them.
I agree. I bet if visited the house I don't think I would be scared of them they were just like any other family but was just dressed in black. I agre Wednesday was a cutie when she was a kid.
shareI was 11 just like Christina Ricci was in 91 when this movie came out and I was completely smitten by Wednesday. I was at that point realllly into Halloween, old horror movies the TV Addams Family, and all things spooky already, so the movie was like a idealized fantasy world to me. Not only did I have a crush on her because of cuteness, I also though she was a totally awesome basass who nailed that roll 100%. I even tried sleeping with my arms crossed like a corpse for like a year I was so effected, heh.
Between her and Elvira (who I also loved as a kid, and still do) I didn't end up a goth, but I did have a serious thing for goth girls!
I still think Ricci is a massive babe (big head and all), but to me she will always be Wednesday... unless they do a remake and she plays Morticia and then my crush could come full thematic circle.
I think I was a year younger but I crushed hard on Christina Ricci when I saw this film. Still think she's an amazing beauty and a unique actress (she doesn't take easy roles).

Wednesday is definitely my favorite Addams family member by far. Christina Ricci played her perfectly, and I don't know if anyone could've pulled Wednesday off like Ricci: she just embodies her in every way!

Her Wednesday look was unique and while she was always cute, Wednesday was a person unto herself. The combination of the character and the actress. Can't imagine anyone else pulling it off.
