Watching it yesterday and didn't want to change the channel.

Gomez was great.

I agree. I remember going to see this in the theatre and expecting not to like it. Mainly I figured nobody would ever be as good a Gomez as John Astin.

I ended up enjoying it considerably and Raul Julia was one of the main reasons why. Still one of the best "re-make" movies that have been done.

Couldn't agree more, this is impressive stuff for Barry Sonnenfeld's theatrical debut and he is great as it is. I still have the Super Nintendo game and that is my favorite game based on a film. It's like a morbid Super Mario. Both of these films are immense fun every time.

This movie was so perfect!! And the dialogue was fantastic.

100% agreed! This movie is fantastic, Raul Julie gave a one-of-a-kind performance and I love the rest of the cast even the additional characters not part of the original series such as the judge, Tully, and Dr. Pinderschloss. This movie shows that remakes can be successful if done right.
