How many people think this is a good sequal to part 1 of 976-EVIL?

Where can I get a copy of this movie? If I have to, I will buy the movie, but I would rather rent or borrow the movie, if I can.

reply

I think they have that movie over at www.amazon.com

This movie sucked. now i'm an afficianado of horror movies so to speak, so I know my horror movies. Now this so called 'sequel" is really bad. Given demonic powers?okay, but it shoud've been the same way Hoax got them in the first one, and there should've been physical changes like him as well. having it being astral was just plain stupid. It was hokey, not that gory like the first one, and the ending sucked big time. the first one was way better, and if you like horror movies (I mean really like them),please don't waste your time and/or money on this piece of garbage.

Yeah this movie was pretty bad. I only paid .25 cents for it and that's about what it's worth imo. The movie was just not as good as the first one. It did have a few parts that were good, but otherwise it stunk. I did like the hobo guy though, he was pretty funny. Today's my night, chicken and wine! lol

Did anybody really expect this movie to be good? Afer all, it was directed by Jim Wynorski, who's probably the only guy on the planet who could do a remake of 'Troll 2' that would actually be worse than the original. <G>

You could not pay me to have my copy of the film.

Oh Okay 5p anyone?

Its playing all this month on fearnet on demand..you could just record it off of there :)

But it's not a 'sequel', it's a "sequal" :D

It sucks mostly because the bastards killed off (or did they?) Patrick O'Bryan's character Spike.

I saw this movie on the USA Network when they use to have USA UP ALL NIGHT and thought it was all right. I never saw the first 976 EVIL when it came out but I remember the previews to the movie on TV promoting the movie.

It was a all right movie for me I thought.

It is a very good movie and I have not seen it in ages though. Yes it is a good movie to watch! COOL That you got a rare screener VHS from Vestron on Amazon! All of that sound great with promos in it!

976-Evil 2 is superior in almost every way, with the exception of the unfortunate absence of Stephen Geoffreys, to the first 976-Evil.

I thought it was good in its own way- neither of the 976-EVIL are great horror movies. In the first one, theres more of a teen element and the transformation of the nerd is pretty entertaining. The second movie is mostly held up by a great performance of Mr Brubeck(the guy who gets possessed) and Debbie James shapely ass in skintight jeans. Part 2 is an easier watch, I found it more engaging. It has some cheesy computer generated effects, but hey it was 1992. The ending is pretty good IMO, not so tidy.

It's alright. I liked it slightly better than the first one mainly because of the lovely Debbie James

I've only seen the first one, once. But ive seen this one a few times, and i think its quite a fun little movie :)

I saw the first one several years ago and was unimpressed, but I think this showed moments of true inspiration, mixing dark humor with genuine horror. It's not a great film, but it certainly is an entertaining one. 6/10 stars from me.
