Help: what's the name of this movie?!

When I was a kid I saw an excellent movie, it was aired somehow in the same time as 29th street, very often on TV, and quite similar (funny) to movies like "29th street", "Twins" (Schwarzeneger & De Vito)etc.
This is what I remember:
Two brothers, they live in old house, have some trouble with gangsters, their house is burned to the ground at the end when they leave gas valve open. In the movie appears an urn with the ashes of their uncle (or was it father?) And I clearly remember two scenes, where I laughed myself to tears.
1. In a church, one of their contacts ask of them to do everything he does. He lits a candle, they lit a candle, he starts praying, both of them start praying. Suddenly, someone shoots the poor guy. He grabs his chest. Both of the brothers grab their chest. Man hits the floor, they imitate him...
2. One of the gangsters, holding some white material in the hotel room, asks loudly: "whose pillowcase is this?
