The Principal would tell jokes during announcements and the secretary would play the drums.

I remember the Mr. History skits and mortoise the safety tortoise was another funny part of the show.

I used to watch this show all the time but for some reason the episodes don't stick with me as well as Salute Your Shorts and Hey Dude did. The one I remember the most was the Shanice episode.
