Can't believe I wasted time on this then and now...

Saw this on Netflix, remembered it from childhood. Watched the pilot...dragged on forever like an elderly person.

Horrible acting, silly nonsense, couldn't take the whole government facility seriously. I have to wonder if King did this as some kind of joke. The funniest scene is the one that plays over and over again on each intro to the show when they show the old man get blown back by the fire and explosion as David Bowie sings 'Golden Years'.
