Felicity Huffman

This was the first time I had ever seen Felicity in anything (back when this first aired on network tv) and ever after that whenever I saw her I said "the chick from Golden Years!".
I watched Sports Night because I saw she was going to be in it (though after the pilot I watched just because it was good--even though I hate sports!).

And when Desperate Housewives came on I thought how far our little Felicity had come from Golden Years.

I think if I ever met her in person I would say "hey, Terry from Golden Years!"

"People are being particularly stupid today and I cannot talk to anymore of them."

I'd be the exact same if I ever met her.

I've seen her in a good few things since but as I was only 13 or 14 when this aired, it's what I always associate her with.

For some reason, I get the impression she's a lovely person...based on nothing more than a hunch.

You know, this is a silly TV mini-series that I've always had a soft spot for, and I know it's cheesy and silly, but in her performance, you can tell that she is a real actress and a real star right off the bat, right from the beginning. Terry is a great character and she is played brilliantly by Felicity Huffman.

In this mini-series Felicity Huffman reminds me of a younger Gillian Anderson (Scully) when she was in X Files. They could almost have been sisters.I just started watching this on Netfliks and when she first appears in episode 1 I thought it was Gillian Anderson at first. Remarkable resemblance between the two of them back in 1991.

Now in 2014 the two woman don't look so much alike.
