Yup sitting here watching this movie thinking to myself X-Files,Day of the Dead. Scully/Spann Toddhunter/Frankenstein. Lots of original thinking going on here.

yes i'm basically convinced that scully was heavily influenced by terry. from the acting, clothing style, professional strong personality, face, hairstyle, they are almost identical. she is the best part of this series
