I don't think every show from the 80's or90's should be brought back but

I really think like Fuller House this could really work. Love to see all these characters after almost 20 years later.

Agreed ;-)

The sad thing is that most of the Step by Step kids have hardly acted since the show ended, or faded into obscurity. I think Christine Lakin is the only one who still acts somewhat. The Fuller House show mainly worked because the cast has kept up with each other and still remained close like a real family. Like Family Matters, there isn't much about what went on behind the scenes with this show.

Exactly, I can't see this show getting a reboot, besides all the kids would be grown now.

I agree. The only ones really acting anymore other than Christine Lakin (Al Lambert) is Patrick Duffy (Frank Lambert) and possibly Sasha Mitchell (Cody Lambert). Everybody else just either retired or work outside of the entertainment industry.

I don't think a revival will ever come to fruition. The series was pretty much just a fond memory of what we watched growing up. "Step by Step" was never released on DVD, and whatever they have available on Amazon is just a few select episodes.

It worked for "Fuller House" (2016 - Present) because, as somebody had mentioned above, the cast maintained contact with each other and remained friends after "Full House" (1987 - 1995) concluded.

If they ever did continue the show then that would be awesome, but without a DVD release (or any release for that matter) and a decent audience willing to watch, I don't see it ever happening.

Besides, Sasha Mitchell is barely recognizable nowadays. The dude is ripped!

Actually every episode is currently available to stream on Hulu. They have Family Matters and Perfect Strangers too!

don't worry you are not the only one. this is one of the best decades for TV if not the best.

reply

The thing is, I don't think Fuller House actually works.
