They do this once a year. Sometimes a 2nd or 3rd event like it during the summer. Why not just pull All That & Kenan & Kel and start rotating some other series on a regular basis.

Hmm, I don't think they've been this consistent before. Well, when the block first started as I recall it they were rotating the series' quite nicely, then it was pretty much just a few selections (including Clarissa) and eventually down to Kenan Kel/Rugrats/Hey Arnold/All That. This year (well in 2013/2014, I keep forgetting its a new year) they have been airing the shows much more frequently and with more variety. Remember over the summer (ish) they were airing the game shows Double Dare and I think there was another one which was a big deal seeing as they had been advertising it for years without delivering. They even included the bumpers/commercials for British Knights etc. Also Kel made his 90s are all that debut in 2013. So I acknowledge their improvement and hope they can continue improving.

I have to say I did stop watching for a while which is why my timeline/details may be a tad bit off but I would check the guide a good bit so I could tell when there was variation in the schedule. They would advertise so many different shows and NEVER air them! There was a rough spot when there was hardly ANY variety and due to complaints they would give a little and on holidays stick new shows on FOR ONE NIGHT. They had the voting thing for a while (Friday Picks or something) which was unfair because they would put popular shows that were already being played like KK or Rugrats/Hey Arnold up against lesser known gems and you could only vote for certain eps. Again to appease the complaints I do recall that eventually they aired a SINGLE spisode of certain shows (Shelby Woo, Allen Strange, Space Cases) either during the new year or voting period. Other shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark I believe they aired multiple episodes ONCE, perhaps TWICE. By that I mean only on one day.

All of that to say, that's how the block started out. I was under the impression they would continue with the rotation and level it out with eps of KK etc but they are sort of lazily relying on the same few shows for ratings. A little while ago they aired My Brother & Me for a few nights and I can't remember the last time I saw that show on air. So maybe the ratings were suffering at one time and honestly I feel like they could be getting back on track the last few months.
