It would have been so cool for those of us who grew up with Rugrats to watch them grow up right along with us and watch as they graduated middle/high school, entered college etc. I would have loved the same thing for Hey Arnold as well :)

90s children's entertainment are making a comeback right now. I think it's the perfect climate to test the waters for a Rugrats return. We've got GMW, Reading Rainbow, Magic School Bus 360, and of course the new series of Harry Potter-verse films. 90s Kids are eating it up!
I'd like to see Nick do a one-off special starring Tommy and Kimi's daughter with a new generation of Rugrats. They could announce it, build up press and popularity, and see how people react to the movie and if it's a hit, turn it into a next gen series.
