Felt bad for Angelica in 'Tricycle Thief'

Susie was such a bitch in that episode and they basically wouldn't let Angelica explain that her father bought the exact same tricycle that Susie got. And the icing on the cake was when Cynthia almost went to Mars via balloon. I wonder what Susie would've done to make up for that had Cynthia not magically fell back into Angelica's hands.

If that were me I probably would've never spoke to her again.

Also shouldn't that balloon have been weighted down by Cynthia? lolz.

yeah but if Angelica really stole the tricycle, Susie could've easily gotten it back. But Angelica wouldn't have gotten Cynthia back. So I think what Susie did was worse.

I KNOW it's a kids cartoon but hey I have a right to say what I feel.

That is one of the episodes, when you actually feel bad for Angelica. But at least, she got Cynthia back in the end.

Intelligence and purity.

This episode was on Nicktoons last night : )

But anyway, I felt bad for Angelica as well. No one deserves to lose something that special to them without a really good reason.

Yea I felt bad for angelica too. I hated susie and I still do. Angelica was way better than she was. If I were the parent and angelica didnt get cynthia back I would have busted susie's ass for sure!

I like Susie and I can understand her thinking that Angelica is lying, but she went too far when she decided to get rid of Cynthia

reply

Absolutely. This is one of the few times where I've felt really sorry for Angelica. Yes, she's an obnoxious, stuck up, self-centered, scheming, lying and mean little brat. But here in this episode, I did feel something for her. It was also touching how after Cynthia briefly went up into the air with Chuckie's balloon, she showed Susie a red finger-painted "Sorry" card she made for her to apoligize for how she acted the day before to her. And this was the one time where I didn't like Susie at all. Luckily, Cynthia came back to Angelica.

I can understand why Susie thought Angelica stole the bike but she did get on my nerves in that episode.

reply

Right. Susie didn't have to go and take Cynthia away from her. The bike was right in front of them and Susie could have taken it right back - even though it was really Angelica's -, so there was no reason for Susie to be so punishing towards Angelica other than giving her a slap on the wrist. True Angelica had taken many of the babies' toys away, but they always got them back. If Cynthia hadn't fallen down, Angelica wouldn't have been as lucky as them.

I believe I mentioned this in my OP--I think God gave Cynthia back to Angelica. What are the chances that she would fall right back into her arms? And how would the balloon untie itself from Cynthia? LOL! Lil is right, she says "how did that happen?!"

I believe there's some good in everybody, even in people who I have absolutely NO desire to have any contact with or look at anymore. This episode shows proof that Angelica does have a good side. She did take their toys a lot but yeah, they got them back. What would Drew have done if Cynthia never came back? He would've been seriously P'OED at Randy and Lucy. If one of my friends tied my favorite toy to a balloon and it flew away, I would've been just as upset as Angelica. At least in the one where Tommy and Chuckie accidentally lose Cynthia and she goes into the city dump, they certainly were remorseful and were afraid to tell her. That fake "funeral" still cracks me up to this day.

Like the proverbial cheese, I stand alone. Even while seated.
