Remember this episode? (Possible Spoiler)

There was one when this kid who was friends with Sheila was being picked on in school by this gang for his jacket, and he wouldn't give him his jacket. However, the bullied kid pulls out a gun and tells the guys to back off. When it comes to the end, the gang drives up to Roc's house and shoots the kid in front of the house as he was getting ice cream...........dead. It was a very emotional and powerful episode, but the season ended after the last two episodes after that one. Does anyone know what happened after that?

Well I know the body who killed the kid got sent to prison. He was only 16 and Roc had Andre the Drug Dealer go see him in prison. The scene with andre talkin to the boy was amazing. Roc should have been nominated for an Emmy and should have been on for 3 more seasons.

That one came on this past weekend. They were running a mini Roc marathon on TV One. The boy who was killed was the black kid from The Sandlot.

Yes, that was a powerful episode with Charles Dutton himself giving a speech to end violence among the youth and you see the kids in the classroom set behind him. Well, there were a few more episodes after that, one being that Roc decides to run for city councilman as a result of Terrence Lambert's death. He didn't win but he helped turn the neighborhood around. The final episode had Damon Evers arrested for Terrence's murder and Andre going to talk to the kid about how to survive in jail. A great show that should've stayed on the air longer.

WAIT...I THOUGHT THE REASON FOR SHEILA LIVING IN THE EMERSON HOUSE WAS BECAUSE HER FATHER KILLED ANDRE IN THE NAIL SHOP. OR DID HE SURVIVE THE SHOOTING IN THE NAIL SHOP?

Andre did survive the shooting. His injuries required him to use a cane, and he had a hole in his lung.

Yes, Sheila came to live with the Emersons while her dad served time for shooting Andre. However, he didn't kill Andre, just wounded him. Andre did come back in the next season.

THANX YOU GUYS! I FOUND THE EPISODE! I THOUGHT ANDRE WAS DEAD BECAUSE WHEN ROC WAS QUESTIONED BY THE DETECTIVE(KELSEY GRAMMAR) ROC YELLED "I DIDN'T KILL HIM AND I DON'T KNOW WHO DID!"

Well, maybe Roc screaming that was a mistake in the writing. He probably should've said shot instead of kill. Or it could be that in the next season they decided to change it and have Andre come back with the cane and the weaker voice.

Yes! I remember that episode as well when it first premiered on prime time back in '94, I think.

I remember being shocked at the conclusion of that episode because the idea of the child getting shot was left to your imagination, you only heard gunshots and the child's scream. I recall that was the child actor from People under the stairs.

The person who played Terrance also appeared on Fresh Prince in the same season as Ashley's Valentine's Day Date. I didn't know he was in that film.

Somebody tell me they have taped episodes of this show?? And can put the full episodes online!! I forgot how intense this show was.

When I was staying in Michigan, I got the chance to watch ROC on TVOne...now, that I moved back to Minnesota...NO CABLE, so no chance of seeing Roc. I'd love to see this show make it to DVD, so I can see the WHOLE series from start to end.

Too bad good black shows have became archaic. Nowadays, we got sh!t like "Under One Roof",
