The theme song kept completely changing from season to season. Of course this was era when Fox was still struggling to establish itself--and pre-online tv....so ratings were not as competitive as they are now. They could afford to do this and still have three seasons.
If they had kept the theme song steady it might have had time to establish itself.
Network kinda dumped on this show they pretended the male nurse was an 'issue' when infact he was a licensed professional. I wonder if the networks understood men had always been in nursing since the beginning had been a large percentage of field nurses (when women could not be in combat) and had been in civilian positions since the 1970's. Probably not I wonder if they are now embarrassed by that reaction
Gina also spent the bulk of her time throwing herself at Hank vs working with patients?? Really. I am assuming it was bc she was 'exotic' when they could have had two doctors in a relationship.
And not helping now is there is a Canadian produced drama with better scripting--it's more like ER but has the same title. Well this series can kiss any hope of being remembered good bye.
