what if WKRP went a 3rd season? what would have happened to donovan (at the end of season 2, he was flying back to cincinnati from chicago, only to have his plane being missing and no one accounted for). did donovan die? who would be the new program director? how did johnny do in hollywood? just some questions to throw out there.
shareThey would of done the standard hospital episode with Carlson, Les, and Herb showing up at the hospital to pay their respects, their would be a miss comunication that he died at the end they would find him alive and well.
Johnny would be a success in Hollywood if he was a Special Guest-Star again and then return mid-season after he messed that up, earlier if he stars in most the season.
New WKRP wasn't bad they just took way to long to get the new cast to gel and it never gelled like the original show.
Don't know if it was writing, timing, or direction, cast (aged 9 years), but it wasn't the show we grew up with.
