I didn't get to see much for the second series but I know they had references and guest spots from former cast members/characters. Did they ever mention Bailey or Andy?

Did the New WKRP really state that Bailey became the mayor of Ann Arbor while Andy headed up North and out West just after the original show? I have heard several rumors such as those, but I didn't see enough of the New WKRP to know if they were actually mentioned or not.

I just watched through the whole series. This was never mentioned.
