I agree. I think that these were some of the funniest and most creative moments in tv ever. I have no idea if they will ever get put on dvd. Obviously Dawn doesn't have the same agent as Steve Coogan. The vhs is almost impossible to find now.

This show is great, it has a weird mixture of being scary and nostalgic all at the same time.

Still no Dvd but you can get Vhs tapes from amazon.co.uk
Tape 1 Overkill,Lady Luck and Mangez Merveillac
Tape 2 Girl from Ipanema,A Determined Woman and Murder at Tea-time.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the address for that video! I have also been looking forever for some copy of that program but without luck until I read your post. I'm glad to get the one I ordered, but would love to get the whole series. Any idea if that's possible?

reply

The only way at present is if you have Paramount Two, all four series have been shown in succession three times now and might possibly be again. They may still be on but I'm not 100% sure. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

They really should be on DVD!!!

Last film watched: Hot Fuzz (2007) 10/10

Agreed....but probably never will be because not that many people have seen it and seems like it was never pushed & promoted to become more of a hit. But it seems like everyone who has seen it (and it's a small number) all seemed to love it.

I would love to have these on DVD also! Wish there were someplace to hound people to put these out on DVD...anybody have a clue?

Until now, I didn't think that anyone else was looking for this truly unique and fun show or that it just wasn't made on DVD (I have all seasons of The Vicar of Dibley on DVD as well as the entire French and Saunders series--you'd think that all Dawn French projects would be out there.)

The name of the Production company is TALKBACK PRODUCTIONS (they produced Da Ali G show), so I suggest going to their website and ask for the DVD. Get your Murder Most Horrid fan friends (and your friends who don't even know that British telly exists) on it and inundate them with requests!
