Cinnamon and the prison guard

I hope im not the only one who got pervy vibes from the prison officer that was on Cinnamon's case. To me he was a little bit too close and gave off vibes that he was some type of pedophile whenever they had scenes together. My first time watching I had caught it in he middle and thought the movie was about some juvenile guard messing with the inmates. I dont know if the directors wanted to imply something but the whole dynamic with characters just gave me a vibe that they were having an affair and he was bribing her by making her to him "favors".
