I've just started season one and I'm really enjoying this series. I'm just wondering if the quality of the actual filming improved as it went into it's second and third season. It has that home video look to it, if you know what I mean. The sets, the costumes and the acting is otherwise excellent but I find the film quality not the best.

I know what you mean. If I'm remembering correctly, that look was consistent throughout the series.

Yes, thanks, I've started series 2 and it's maybe a touch better, but for the most part the same. A little distracting but the show itself is very well done.

THoE was filmed with multi-camera video production rather than film, which is why it looks sort of like a filmed play rather than a movie.
