House of Idiot spoof

Just in case you missed it, Youtube has the French & Saunders send-up of House of Eliott, in three parts.

Part 1:

Now, I love HoE, but French and Saunders' spoof was BRILLIANT. If you search for the other two parts on Youtube, you will especially enjoy seeing all the scenes you saw in HoE, in side-splitting form.

Check out part 3 especially, for a cameo by Stella Gonet, Louise Lombard, and Cathy Murphy, all.

Tell me more about French and Saunders spoof. I would love to see it. I don't anything about ww.youtube. I don't think I can get that at my work computer. Would Netflix have it as I am a member.

I just love the clothes on House of E. WOuld buy the set just for the clothes. Those Holywood fasionist/stylist, should copy some of the designs for their red carpet clients. The clothes Bea and Evie wear are outstanding. Love those crazy coats and the gowns are fantastic!!!!

Do you have any idea if this is on one of French and Saunders DVDs, and if so, which one(s)?

This Spoof features on the "French & Saunders At the Movies" DVD

It is really quite good and entertaining, gives you a good laugh.

'The House of Idiot' also features on 'The Best of French and Saunders' DVD. It takes the mickey out of the real show by having obviously non-period things appear and such things as makeup artists adjusting people's hair as they sit down.

i love the way "beatrice" always asks josheph to leave the room, or ask him something and then not let him reply :-)
It was like that in the beginning of 2nd season of the real show also: josheph seemed to have been was like a piece of furniture with the sole purpose to fill up the screen

That send-up made me laugh so hard it almost hurt. French & Saunders rarely ever missed the mark.

"Joseph please would you step in here for a moment? ...That will be all, thank you Joseph." LOL. I also always laugh at Beatrice being 'so worried about those missing buttons', and Tilly with her danish pastry hair!

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
