Loved the show but how did Sarah die?

I missed it in 1991 and again in 2007, when the Goodlife channel took it off and now show Hill Street Blues. I enjoyed the show and hope someday it will be released on DVD. I wished they had done more with Sarah and Hank. They pushed them to the wayside and focused on Jeff and Ginger. They were more appealing to the audience I suppose. It was a large cast and would be hard to write good story lines for each. Sarah got killed off and Hank left the show.

According to Alexandra Wilson, when I spoke with her many years ago, not everyone was onboard with her hiring for Homefront, so she was let go after the first season... more politics than anything else. I'm sure this effected the Hank/Sarah story lines. In real life, she was dating her leading man... who left the show not long after she did.

I think she was killed when the house was attacked by the anti-union people. She was the only one killed. It caused a rift between Linda and Hank and he left not long after that.

Hi it's been a while since I last saw the series and I loved it along with Northern Exposure, Twin Peaks, X-Files, Friday the 13th Series.. I am planning on watching them again and looking up any video online BUT I wished you hadn't posted the story itself on the title because I forgot all about it.
