I love the animal monkey noises Tim Allen makes when he's doing manly things. I did a series rewatch a few years back. This show still holds up. It's not on the same level as some other 90's sitcoms, but it's still great. I'm a sucker for a great sitcom though. It's one of my many flaws, I mean I was one of the people who didn't want Joey to be cancelled, enjoy.

I THINK YOU AND I HAVE SIMILAR TASTES IN SHOWS...I ALSO WANTED JOEY TO STAY AROUND LONGER...I REALLY WISHED THEY HAD TAKEN THE JOEY CHARACTER AND DROPPED INTO A MORE REALISTIC L.A. ACTING SCENE...BUT EVEN AS IT WAS I ENJOYED IT...I OWN SEASON ONE...SEASONE 2 IS RARE AND GOES FOR OVER A HUNDRED BUCKS EASY.

Another rare sitcom I own is the war at home, with Michael rapporport

THAT WAS A PRETTY GOOD SHOW.

I like this show too. It's funny but gets a bit of drama in at times. Though seasons 6 onward aren't as good.

Me too. That's a good indication that it IS, in fact, GREAT! For me personally, it's the #1 comedy EVER! Got the entire series on DVD, and glad to be able to watch it whenever I want.

To your "not perfect" point, I say it was great for 6 seasons, but acknowledge there seemed to be a drop off in quality in season 7...and JTT left after season 7. So, for the overall quality of the rest of the show, season 8 was definitely pretty weak. Sometimes it seemed like Tim was just going though the motions in season 8 because he was under contract, but wasn't really having fun anymore.
