I would love to see this show again as well MandyWantsCandy! It has been a long time for me as well. I loved the women that were in the episodes. They were all beautiful women on the show! I wonder why no one has put Herman's Head in syndication? I remember FX had 90210 and Married With Children in syndication but why not Herman's Head? I would love to see it back on TV again as you would.

Well I was on active duty from 1989 to 1993 and then got out. I waited until 1999 and went into the reserves. I got recalled after 9/11 for 2 years. I just got out of the reserves in October of last year.

I miss the good pay though. The USA Network use to show great shows like The Odd Couple, Perfect Strangers, Gimme A Break, My Two Dads, Just The Ten Of Us, and many more shows from the 80's before it changed its format.

Yes and that is why I stopped watching FOX. The only time I ever watch FOX is to watch football. Another show of the 80's that only lasted one season was It's Your Move with Jason Bateman in it.

Oh ok. Yeah that show only stayed on for one season though. See at the time Jason Bateman was on Silver Spoons and then they removed him from the show and giving him his own show called It's Your Move. They replaced Jason Batemans character with Alfonso. You know the actor who played Charlton in Fresh Prince? Unfortunately It's Your move only stayed on NBC for one season though and then it was in syndication with USA Network.

LOL Well in Silver Spoons it starred Ricky Schroeder which he changed it to now to make it seem he is older is Rick Schroeder. There was Jason Batemon on there, Erin Gray, and Alfonso who later went onto The Fresh Prince.
Those are the television shows that I recall from the 80's. I even recall a show called Valerie and then after the first season became Hogan Family. That was a great show that Jason Bateman starred in. The show lasted from 1986 to 1991. I have not seen Valerie since ABC Family briefly aired it and then Mr. Belvedere has been a very long time since it went off the air in 1990.

LOL Well I am 35 years old and my girlfriend is 25 and she has never heard of Mr. Belvedere before. I remember watching this show when it came out back in 1985. It came out the same time as Who's The Boss and Growing Pains. Mr. Belvedere ended in 1990 while Who's The Boss and Growing Pains ended in 1992.
I do not know why but not too many people know about Mr. Belvedere and I think that is just nuts because that was a great show when it was on and I have not seen it since it went off the air in 1990. Both Growing Pains and Who's The Boss has gone onto syndication while Mr. Belvedere has not. That really makes me mad you know.

It could be due to disagreement on the fringe benefits on the royalties on these shows. The companies could be greedy about it. I am not really sure on how to answer that question Amanda. It could be a assortment of things as to why it is not going out onto DVD box set.

I know what you mean. Possibly the other reason why some of these shows may not be coming out on DVD is possibly because a lot of these stations do not put these shows into syndication. That is another reason why they are not coming out on DVD. It is just a thought and idea you know. What do you think?

I understand Amanda and feel the same way that is why when I went to the message board of The Fall Guy I was hoping that they would put it out on DVD and they finally did in June. I loved watching that show back in the 80's. It seems like a lot of these film companies wait or take forever to get them out in a box set and I do not agree with that at all.
I notice a lot of the newer shows come out a lot faster you know and I do not care for that when there are shows that came out way before the newer shows did and should be out on DVD first.

I do the same thing as you can tell Amanda. I would love to own the complete sets of The Dukes Of Hazzard but I do not like the season with the Fake Duke Boys though and what I mean by that is Coy and Vance Duke. Those were the episodes where those two actors stepped in when John Schnieder and Tom Wopat had problems coming to terms with Warner Brothers on rights for merchandise and all. If I want to own the whole series then I will have to buy them though because there are a couple of episodes with Bo and Luke in them.

This show definitely needs to be out on DVD... As with most FOX sitcoms of the time, it's crude yet tastefully done. And highly original.
William Ragsdale was also a Darren Starr-type producer in Grosse Pointe on the WB (when that network existed) which was a spoof re behind the scenes of Beverly Hills 90210. It only lasted one season--but already has a DVD release out because it is a newer series.
He is older in this but still looks yes, like the cute guy next door. I also had a crush on him when I was little.
