The ending sucks!

Loved the series all the way to the last episode, you'd of thought barbara douglas would of changed her mind after learning the truth about murray and perhaps take him away from the riots and chaos so they'd live happily ever after or something, kinder sucks the way it just ended like that, bit of an anti-climax!...
