Wouldn't it be cool if Nick at Nite showed Doug?

And all the other Nick classics from the 90s? Honestly I don't see the point of endless reruns of Full House, George Lopez, and Friends when they could show old Nickelodeon shows.

reply

Nick @ Nite had been showing Nicktoons, since Rugrats in 1998, as far back as I can remember.

That would be a great idea. George Lopez show isn't that funny and I don't think it had that many seasons. Its not Nick @ Nite worthy to me.

I still don't know why they don't simply launch a 90s Nickelodeon channel. They could use actual old schedules, old menus and bumpers, etc, and then do some new skits using old concepts (ex: Stick Stickly). They could even have Billy West come by to do some new Doug voiceover promos.

Seems there's enough audience to make it worth their while.

That'd be a great idea. Maybe we should ask Nickelodeon to do it.

Dude! nickreboot.com :D

reply

Yeah, I've watched that from time to time. But I mean it would be nice to actually have everything organized in a set schedule from the past (or rotate various actual schedules from back then), with menus/bumpers and promos coinciding with those old schedules. Maybe even throw in some new promos with some of the old characters.

Nickreboot.com, by comparison, is randomly shuffled, including various menus/bumpers/promos popping up that have no applicability to whatever order the stream is in.

reply

Ah yeah you're right, I was just so happy that something like that exists, and I like how you never know what you're gonna see (shoot I can only listen to my music on shuffle!) but I can see how it'd be nice to have an actual schedule in place:)

It's been almost 2 years since my original post and that is still literally all that is on Nick at Nite, endless reruns of Full House, George Lopez, and Friends. At least put something different on.

They won't even put any effort/variety into teenNick's "the 90s are all that" block. if they give us a channel, they're likely just going to screw that over too.

They treat "are you afraid of the Dark" as a Halloween thing.

When they did a Christine Cavanaugh tribute, They only aired Chuckie Themed Rugrats episodes when They over play Rugrats as it is and they completely left out that episodes of AAAH! real monsters and Salute your shorts, which she also appeared in.

Plus, The people who run "the 90s are all that"s facebook page have stated before in 2011, when they actually replied to people's posts, that some shows like Kablam, roundhouse, ETC, are more owned by the show creators and production studios than nickelodeon and that they don't completely own the rights to some shows

I mean After Viacom stopped their business with Netflix, Animorphs ended up on Netflix, which obviously means the studio that made it has more ownership than Nick.

I mean, They wouldn't even give us Pete & pete season 3 DVD when They printed copies for a March 2006 release.

With the way things are being run now, I don't see a 90s channel working out at all

as for Nick Reboot, That's just a copyright infringement lawsuit waiting to happen. They're no different unauthorized youTube uploads so enjoy that while you can
