Faulty DVDs series 3, PAL region 4 version

Has anyone in Australia had problems with faulty DVDs series 3, PAL region 4 released by Time Life? "The first part of THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE plays fine, but none of the other episodes have dialogue sound tracks, just background sound tracks. We've tried on two different brand players.
