I hope y'all aren't getting sick of me posting so much lol Anyway, I was watching Time and Punishment last night, which is one of my fav eps, and I have to wonder, if LP didn't come to the rescue would Darkwarrior have killed Gosalyn?

I'd like to think he wouldn't, he obviously still had a softspot for her, but then again, thinking she was possibly dead for all those years really warped his mind severly, he was obviously VERY mentally unstable.

It's episodes like that that make me think the show really could have benefitted from a more serious treatment, something along the lines of Batman TAS.

I also would have loved episodes like Life, the Negaverse and everything, and the Steerminator with more drama....Tarus Balba is back for revenge and looking for Gosalyn, and how can Darkwing, injured and in a wheelchair, protect her from his most dangerous adversary?

I was reading one of the many interviews with Tad Stones and he said that if one of the other producers had more say, the series would've taken on a much more darker tone but it didn't since it was a Disney cartoon.

I don't think he would've killed her though, because he was just about ready to shoot her and he straight-out said he couldn't.... then he got bashed over the head. But I think even if he didn't, he would've let her go.

Despite Gosalyn's history of her naughty behavior, Darkwarrior's love 4 the child prevented him from pulling the trigger on her.
