Are these on the DVDs as well, or just the Disney Afternoon episodes? I remember a lot of them were pretty different.

Not yet, but soon, hopefully. The two DVD-sets that have been released so far only contains the DAFT episodes. Since we're almost done with that run, the next set will most likely dig into the ABC ones.

Does anyone have a good quality link to the alternate intro to the ABC Saturday morning episodes? Those -- I must say -- were my absolute favorite. Too bad I had to wake up at 6 AM to see them. :p

i never knew DwD was a Sat morning cartoon! i watched it religiously on Disney Afternoon... so were there different episodes? if so, how many different ones were there?

I never saw it on Saturday morning either, but if what I understand is correct, the Saterday morning episodes were shown on the Disney Afternoon once in Syndication, which didn't take very long, so you probably didn't miss any. I don't think I did. We just saw the episodes out of order.
