Darkwing's lair

I've just been getting back into watching episodes of this show after some years, but I haven't really been watching in order. I was wondering how Drake came to live in the suburban home he has. Don't tell me he gave up the awesome lair he has in Darkly Dawns the Duck.

Good to know he never gave up the tower. I guess it's featured again in other episodes, then? Is there ever an episode that shows him and Goslin moving into the suburban home?

Also, something else I'm not clear on... does Launchpad live with them, or what?

Launchpad seems to have his own hangar (housing his biplane and the Thunderquack) at the beginning of "Darkly Dawns the Duck." Probably he lived in it, as well. Don't know if he kept it after the pilot show, but I rather think Drake Mallard would not put up with Launchpad 24/7.

I'm inclined to disagree. We see LP at the house all the time, even during hours that would be odd to be visiting (Can't Bayou Love), while we never see or hear mention of his hanger after the pilot. I think Drake invited him to stay with them partly because he needed someone to help him keep an eye on Gosalyn and partly because he was the sidekick and it's just easier to the series to have them at the same place.
