Most attractive female character?

Linda is very pretty in a perky kind of way (she's played Peter Pan on stage, and seems ideal as a tomboy character), but I think Laura (or rather Julia St John who played her) is really beautiful, and she's a lovely character too.

There were two scenes that worked beautifully, the one where Mrs B. was on holiday in Cornwall, and Brittas was spending his evenings with Laura & helping her in her garden, and secondly the meal where he was out to impress the European Commission people, and she had him hypnotised so he'd get the job. At the end of the meal she leant over and kissed him, realising that at midnight he'd go back to normal. Their other great scene (of many) was when he was leaving, and he had a daydream that she came around the desk & kissed him (suggesting that perhaps he'd started to fancy her).

I definitely thought that Laura was, by far, the most attractive female character.

Laura, for me too, Linda was also quite hot, but Laura is far ahead of her.
In reality of course both are pretty much old enough to be my Mum - but set at the time then Laura.

Laura, Linda, Julie, Helen and Angie(Series 1 Character Only) were all very attractive.

OP: the two episodes you mentioned are my absolute favorites. They are the only TV couple that I was rooting for to have an affair!

Laura and Angie (Brittas' first secretary) are the prettiest, IMO.

There was another episode, where Laura just grabbed Gordon and snogged him, after having a go at him about how he meant so well, and got all the "hard stuff right and all the easy stuff wrong", she then pounced on him.
I think it's clear though that Gordon loves her too, as is shown on several occasions, not least when he dreams Laura tells him she loves him, when he wakes up and begins with the same comments of the dream, except she says Helen is leaving.

Besides Helen had many affairs, there was the Lawyer and Simon for 2 examples.

Yes, I saw that episode again today (when he dreams Laura tells him she loves him, when he wakes up and begins with the same comments of the dream, except she says Helen is leaving) and he wouldn't dream that out of nowhere.

reply

That is a wonderful scene! I love his face when we see he is dreaming.

Angie is my favourite, sadly only in the first series. After her it was Linda. Just watching an episode from the first series on GOLD ("Bye, Bye Baby" I think) and noticed how hot Gordon's wife looked in the nurses outfit!

Angie was played by Andree Bernard.
If you watch Only Fools and Horses the episode called Dates she plays Nervous Nerys who goes on a Date with Rodney.
She was also Chris Fountain's Mum in Hollyoaks about 4-5 years ago

reply

Andrée Bernard (Angie in series one).
Julie St John - (Laura).

Linda was pretty, but Laura by far for me. I had a huge crush on Julia St. John.

Very good. But brick not hit back!

Carole. I've always thought Harriet Thorpe was a beautiful creature
