Is Bill...

meant to be either having a mid life crisis or have some sort of mental illness? Or does she just have hallucinations to make the programme funny? Anyone got a theory? I'm probably reading too much into it haha.

Frankly, watchin' Donny beat Nazis to death is the closest we ever get to goin' to the movies.

I don't remember too many hallucinations.

It's obvious (especially eearly in the series) that she is a bored, unfulfilled housewife who dreams of achieving much more than just a part time job in a bakery/airline food kitchen. This is why the biker character is around for the first few series, we're supposed to wonder whether or not she'll have an affair for a bit of escapism from her loveable buffoon of a husband and bratty kids. A mid-life crisis is one way of putting it.

I think they are referring to the bits where she imagines strangling Tina or smashing her over the head with a cake pan etc They were just meant to represent how she was feeling at the time.

I found Tina to be quite nice, not sure why everyone found her annoying!!
