The Criterion Collection has now released a cleaned up version on Bluray, at least in the UK (don't know about the rest of the world).
I have a few of the new CC sets since they started releasing them here this year, and having read about the respect our US cousins have for Criterion, I've been a little disappointed so far (limited features compared the more established Eureka, BFI and Arrow sets) but Dreams is packed with features. Hours and hours of them. And it looks incredible, I'm very happy to see a proper transfer of this peaceful but unsettling and beautiful looking film.
Of all the CC films, only Burroughs has ticked my box before this, just because it was unavailable until Criterion got hold of it.
