And that's the kind of day it is here in the mind of... FRIGHTFAN!

Xtro 3 has an allright DVD, it can be found at Amazon.com

reply

Well all 3 movies are available on DVD since a few months ago, except that THE SECOND ENCOUNTER doesn;t have an individual DVD realease yet, only in GERMANY.

A boxset came out here sometime in the last year...All three movies...16x9 widescreen, 5.0 (not 5.1, oddly) audio on Xtro 2, Stereo on Xtro and Xtro III. There's only trailers on Xtros 2 and 3, but Xtro 1 has "Xtro Xposed Featurette", Trailer, 2 Alternate Endings, Extra Scene and Image Gallery (**shudder**).

*beep* Sucks.

brodirbruce_405, in what part of the world do you live in? The United Kingdom?

reply

Since brodirbruce_405 isn't answering, I'll just tell you that that's where I live and I have the box set.

Latest film seen: The Warriors (1979) 4/5

I know this is not a DVD and I'm not sure where you are but I rented Xtro, Xtro 2 and Xtro 3 on VHS from Audio/Video Plus in Houston, Texas. They have almost 7,000 VHS titles for rent (5 for $5 for a week) with an amazing selection of out of print and hard to find titles, especially cult and underground horror, fantasy and sci-fi but they also have art house and other types.

No, I don't work there and this is not a paid plug. As a lover of movies, good and bad, I rent 5 or more a week from them. I highly recommend it to anyone in Houston. This place is what a video store used to be and ought to still be!
