This may be an odd type of question but I was always very curious as to why Bruno burps so loudly once he begins transform into a mouse? Also why does his stomach balloon up the way it does?? He's supposed to be shrinking not inflating!!

When the balloon shrinks the air inside is pushed out because it no longer fits.
Another explanation is that the formula is upsetting his stomach causing trapped wind.
Some of the other witches burped when turning into mice at the end too. Just now watched this for the first time in years. Gotta say loved that the toy Ghostbusters fire house that makes an appearance at the end. Though it's too bad it blows up when Luke gets transformed back into a kid at the end.
