Any ideas on how one could possibly see this film? Thanks.

X. God bless.

Yes I wish I also could find this movie! It is very hard to find older movies. I found some movie clips of this movies on a Sean Bean fan site on and really want to see the whole movie.
Anyone have any ideas where to look in Los Angeles?
Thanks

I got my copy on ebay from a seller called bapaquet (I think that's the spelling) but if you do a search for it or "A Killing Wind" which is the original title you should be able to find it there with no problem and for a reasonable price. The quality probably won't be that great - old VHS onto DVD or just old VHS but it's a nice addition to any Bean collection. Good luck!

I got my copy from the same ebay person. The quality of the transfer DVD is not crisp. However I still really liked the movie-Sean is so young!

Register with www.youtube.com - it's free and you can watch ten zillion streaming video clips of Sean Bean to your hearts content. Join the "Sean Bean Group" and you'll get the "private subscription" from other Sean Bean fans film download clips.

Windprints was made way back in 1990 - it was never released in America and
is impossible to purchase on Region 1 DVD or VHS/VCR tapes that are compatible with American manufactured players. So trying to find this movie belongs to
"Lost Causes Department". Once in a blue moon I've seen European Region 2 DVD's for sale on Ebay - but "Windprints" is a lost film, an
obscure, rare "art house" little gem that never found a decent distribution deal with a studio, so it pretty much was forgotten - which I consider to be a minor tragedy, because Sean Bean gives a powerful, evocative, bravura performance (plus he looks SO young, like a kid - he photographed like a young, tanned, golden blonde god - long, shaggy, artfuly unruly blond hair, with that "just fell out of bed look".) If you try to buy this movie online, it is probably a bootleg, pirate version somebody made at home by burning a DVD. This movie is out of print and nearly impossible to find.

The entire movie is dowloaded in segments - usually 6 to 10 minutes long. I think there are about 8 separate clips of the movie. That is the only length of time you can download streaming video to youtube.com. Well, it's better than NOTHING - watching the movie on your little computer screen is maybe the only way you can ever see this "lost" film.

www.youtube.com only keeps streaming download clips in their database archives for a certain amount of time, then it's deleted - so after I watch each streaming video clip - I click on the "button" at the top of the web page and send a copy to my private e-mail address - that way the streaming video clip is stored forever to my email account - and won't get lost!
