Interestingly, the director of the 1992 horror movie, Dust Devil, has claimed that the killer in his movie and the one Windprints, were based on the same person. My understanding is that the serial killer was in the Namibia region.
Has anyone heard that this movie was loosely based on fact?
At the beginning of the movie, there is some intro text that very briefly describes the modern history of Namibia. It also states the movie is based (loosely I think) on a serial killer in the region.
shareThanks for getting back to me! It is horrible to think this killer could have really plagued the poor people of this area. I have heard such wonderful things about Windprints, but have not yet seen it myself. Do you have any idea how I could a copy? Any ideas would be appreciated!

that case. Cannot remember his name though.
