Homage To The Fugitive Kind
I just watched The Fugitive Kind and Sailor talking about his jacket seems to be a homage to Marlon Brando in the Fugitive Kind.
shareIt is, it was Nicholas Cage's idea and it was his own jacket (because of course Nicholas Cage owns a snakeskin jacket) but it gets crazier. When filming was finished, he gifted the jacket to Laura Dern. The Fugitive Kind is based on a Tennessee Williams play called Orpheus Descending. Diane and Laura are cousins of Tennessee Williams AND Diane met Bruce Dern when they co-starred in a revival of... Orpheus Descending.
It rubs the butter on it's skin, y'all.
