Weird music score

I love the bizarre music that accompanies Bobby Peru. I think I read one time that Lynch composed and played the music, and then reversed the recording so it's playing backwards. Does anyone know if he's ever released his own music scores?

I know most of the music in his films are done by Angelo baldalemti and David lynch himself. Lunch has a few albums himself and a few from movie compositions " the music of David lynch"
