1. Blue Velvet (One of the most perfect films I have ever seen)

2. Mulholland Dr (Every time I watch this movie, I discover something I never noticed before.)

3. Eraserhead (I watch this flick every Saturday night with my buddies and we're all too *beep* up to go to sleep!)

4. The Elephant Man (The perfect example on how to make a commercialized movie, without losing the originality of your vision.)

5. Wild At Heart (For some reason, this movie makes me feel warm inside.)

I like all of Lynch's movies, but these are my top 5.

YOU ARE TEARIN ME APART, LISA!

As for Eraserhead. I loved this, I really appreciated it. But it's so inaccessible which makes it somewhat off-putting.

Mine Are-

1. The Elephant Man (Brilliant In Ever Sense Of The Word).
2. Wild At Heart (One Film That Is Ferocious And Cool At The Same Time).
3. Blue Velvet (One Of Hoppers Finest Perfomances Ever Filmed And A Cool Film).
4. Lost Highway (Bizzare But Very Entertaining Has Lynch Written All Over This).
5. Dune (Very Epic and Visually For Its Day Quite Brilliant).

Also an honourable mention goes to the straight story.

Wild At Heart would be at 7, I guess, behind Straight Story and ahead of the ludicrous Inland Empire. Haven't seen his other two films.

reply

1. Eraserhead (the one that started my fascination with Lynch)
2. Blue Velvet
3. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
4. The Elephant Man
5. Wild at Heart

Haven't yet seen 'Inland Empire' so can't place anywhere:

#1 'Wild At '—Truly Wild, a warped 'Wizard Of Oz'

#2 'Blue Velvet'—Probably his masterpiece and wanted to place this 1st due to the creativity and pure true to form 'Lynchian' weirdness but find 'Wild At ' a more preferable watch
#3'Mulholland Drive'—Probably the one that causes more debate than any of the others about what it all means
#4 'The Elephant Man'—Hard to shake due to the visual potency and sad realism depicted
#5 'Lost Highway'—Have only seen once, need to revist

reply

1. Blue Velvet
2. Mulholland Dr.
3. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
4. Wild at Heart
5. Eraserhead
