I know a friend/associate of Zalman's reads this; I had a PM years back
Anyway, it's been years but cable is playing Wild Orchid lately, and I have to say it hasn't lost a particle of it's original heat. I recently posted on here (to find out what I could about the uncredited boy) and saw that all the other posts were very old. I hope the recent exposure brings in some new devotees. I particularly liked (and answered) the post about the woman who rented the film every week. My kinda girl. Mickey was exuding smoke from every pore in that film, and he barely had to move.
I loved most of the Red Shoes series, too. The yacht, sadly, veered away from what I call erotica and sunk to soft porn. I would so love to see what Zalman would do with a story, surrounding and music on a level with Wild Orchid (unless, of course, he's my age and retired).
I hope everybody's still well and Mrs. King is still the lucky woman she was when Zalman made this film -- so aware of what turns a woman on.
I'm only in Show Biz by injection
