Eastwood is usually the strong silent type

I've never seen a film where Clint Eastwood had so much dialogue. That was a real treat. Usually his characters have about 50 lines of dialogue. Here he talks his head off and it's a delight. Huston, was an egomaniac who loved to hear himself speak. And Eastwood made that very believable.

Eastwood blabbers away in many of his films,or to put it more eloquently, has much more than 50 lines and is mostly ''fun'',rather than ''grim'' in his portrayals. Maybe he is just stereotyped by some for his roles where he spoke less so.

Clint's movies where he lets his fists or his firearms do the talking will as always be my favourites but its interesting to see him in a role outside of what made him famous like in WH BH.

Great to seeing him step out of his comfort zone and extend himself. He even manages to lose a fist fight.🐭
